Recovery rarely begins with everything neatly in place. More often, it begins in the middle of a crisis—with someone who is exhausted, unhoused, struggling with substance use, or unsure where to turn. Dixon’s Recovery Ranch & Outreach was created to meet people in those difficult moments and help them take the next practical step forward.
Our work begins with outreach throughout Clallam County. We connect with people experiencing homelessness, substance use disorder, mental health challenges, and other barriers to stability. Sometimes the first need is immediate: food, water, clothing, blankets, or hygiene supplies. Meeting those needs matters, but it is only the beginning.
By showing up consistently and treating each person with dignity, we can build the trust needed to help someone pursue detox, treatment, housing, health care, or other recovery resources. We believe people deserve more than a list of phone numbers. They deserve someone willing to help them navigate the next step.
Our vision extends beyond outreach. Dixon’s Recovery Ranch is working toward a safe, structured recovery community where people can rebuild their lives with stability, accountability, practical support, and a sense of belonging. The ranch is intended to help close the dangerous gap between short-term treatment and lasting independence.
Recovery does not happen overnight, and it rarely follows a perfectly straight line. Our goal is to help people keep moving forward—even after setbacks—and provide a fair chance to build a healthier future.
This work will take an entire community. Volunteers, donors, service providers, local businesses, families, and neighbors all have a role to play. Together, we can create stronger connections between outreach, treatment, stable living, and long-term recovery.
